POSTURE – Full Locust – (Shalabhasana) On Your mat place the whole front of your body on the mat turning your face to the right side. Extend your toes out and feel the energy flow through, extend your arms over-head palms facing the floor fingers together (superman style) Lift head and gaze forward lengthening through the head, fingertips and your toes to create “neutral resistance” engage your entire body in this posture. The main benefits of Shalabhasana are that it strengthens lower back muscles, tones abdominal, back, legs and arm muscles while stimulating organs and improving posture.

MUDRA – Fish Mudra – Sit comfortably, relaxing shoulders. Place hands in front of you fingers together palms facing the floor and the thumb stretched out to the side, adjacent. Place the right hand over the left hand forming a fish. Hold hand here for a few minutes. Benefits overall relaxation and health, especially beneficial for joint problems.
