Summer weather is upon us and our growing season is in full bloom.  So much so, that I already need to dead-head our flowers.  Don't forget that spraying vinigar on weeds is an earth-kind way to stop them from taking over your property.  Dish soap and water in a spray bottle is a great way to keep bugs at bay.  I plant Marigolds in my vegitables to deter bugs and Lavender and Herbs in areas where I want to discourage deer.  Deer love to eat green peppers and rose blossoms.  Happy gardeing!

I recently learned about a product to keep pest from your plants that is safe for animals.  It's active ingredient comes from Cersanthamums.  The name is Bug Stop.  Thanks Dave for another great tip!!!!

Last weekend I started painting last years birdhouse guords.  I'll post some pictures when I can.

REMEMBER THE JOY OF LAST YEAR,S GARDEN.
Soon I will be harvesting Lavender, I already have dried Lemon Balm Ready.  It is great for fish dishes.
